Physical Development
The video the the right is a clip from the movie Bully (2011). This clip displays a small portion of Alex Libby's life as he is bullied. He explains that students see him differently. He doesn't have many friends. They think that he is different, not normal. This is something that as Teachers and Administrators need to make sure we instill in children that everyone is the same. We all have different stories of how we grow up. This is important for children to understand.

Body types or shapes
Men, women, and children all have different body types. When children begin to grow physically they develop different types of body shapes and physical features. This can lead to bullying amongst peer groups because a child does who has red hair may get bullied because of their red hair. Another scenario a student might get bullied because they weigh more than majority of the other peers but that is just because of the way they are developing.
The photo on the right are different body types for women and the photo on the left is average body types for men. It also can be used for women as well.

The button to the left labeled Teaching Bullying is a link to a website that has a lesson plan for teachers who would like to teach grades 3-5 about bullying. This has activities, questions, and quizzes all teachers should present to their students.
